Question by Ashlyn: Does tanning lotion “expire”??? (I’ve had Jergen’s Natural Glow lotion for fair skin since summer. Too old??)?
Will it work just as well? I haven’t used for about two months, but I want to start using it again when it starts getting warmer outside (springtime). Should it still “tan” me and be healthy/moisturizing for my skin, or is it too old?

Yes it does. Some brands put an expiration date on their bottle. The effectiveness of it gets reduced over time and usually only a year, although some can last up to 3 years if stored properly. Things to consider are where you store the lotion, because heat can make it go bad earlier. I have also noticed the scent of many of the tanning lotions go bad and no longer smell pleasant, so you would most likely want to replace it if the product doesn’t smell as good as it should.
